Relive Cybersec Europe 2025 with Kappa Data

It was hard to miss Kappa Data at Cybersec Europe this year: our booth was right by the entrance! If you didn’t get the chance to visit us or if you’d like to revisit some memories, read on for a recap of this year’s edition and an exclusive look behind-the-scenes of the event.

Kappa Data’s partners

Our valued vendors once again joined us in Brussels to showcase their expertise in services and products. At different mini booths, vendors had the chance to connect one-on-one with visitors and clients to build bridges.

One of the mini booths was dedicated to Sophos, specialized in secure remote connectivity, firewall and cyber and endpoint security. runZero was present as well, demonstrating how to manage security risks by combining active scanning, passive discovery and API integration.

Another vendor was home at our booth: Juniper Networks, known for high-end data center solutions and AI-native networking. Barracuda Networks could be found at another mini booth, standing out with solutions for firewalling and web security, amongst others.

One Identity, expert in (I)AM, PAM, AD and IGA to enhance security and operational efficiency, was at Cybersec Europe too, just like OneSpan, leader in 2FA and electronic signatures.

Allied Telesis, a global leader in IP and Ethernet networking solutions, was ready for networking as well, as were SolarWinds, offering IT management software solutions, and Stormshield, providing protection for critical digital infrastructures and firewalls.

Finally, Extreme Networks, a specialist in cloud-driven end-to-end network technology for businesses, was part of our line-up as well. Extra’s for visitors

Cybersec Europe isn’t just a networking event, it’s an experience. At Kappa Data, we believe in combining business with a touch of hospitality. With goodies, snacks and drinks, we were ready to spoil everyone at our booth. From Belgian beer over soft drinks to chips, there was something for everyone. For lunch, hungry visitors could savor Kappa Data Kroques with ham and cheese or salmon. Throughout the day, people could get their Kappa Data tote bags personalized with their initials. Other goodies, like matches, stickers, keychains, socks and even miniature flowerpots, were spread out over the entire booth. Did you grab one?

New this year was the Kappa Data Soirée we hosted to wrap up the first night. Live saxophone music set the scene as delicious drinks and finger foods were passed around. The soirée allowed guests to have more casual chats and relax after networking or scouring Brussels Expo all day. To top it all off, delicious virgin mojito with lime and mint was available for everyone. It was the perfect way to unwind, connect, and share ideas in a more informal setting.

A look behind-the-scenes

Of course, there’s more to this event that visitors don’t always (get to) see. Cybersec Europe 2025 happened to take place during my first week as a marketing intern at Kappa Data and it was an intense but unforgettable experience. To let you in on a little secret: a lot of time and planning went into the event, as well as muscle power to carry dozens of boxes in and out of the office and special croque making skills worthy of being put on a cv. Still, our team didn’t let early mornings and late nights keep them from meeting people with a smile!
