What does your day-to-day job look like?

As a Technical Solutions Engineer at Kappa Data Belgium, you will play a key role in our technical services. You will be part of a dynamic team where your expertise will really make a difference. Your responsibilities will be varied, with a clear focus on technical and presales support, technical knowledge transfer, and optionally also WiFi Site Surveys at customer locations.

• Technical support for the sales team: You will provide technical support to the sales team. You will contribute ideas about project scopes, draw up kit lists, advise on the right solutions, and help to promote our technologies, products, and vendors to customers and partners. You will be the technical point of contact for your colleagues and will help them where necessary.
• Technical training: You will provide technical training to an audience of IT professionals and immerse yourself in our vendors’ solutions. Kappa Data is an authorized training center for most of the vendors in its portfolio. You will help to transfer that knowledge in a professional and clear manner.
• Site surveys: You will optionally carry out Wi-Fi site surveys on location at end customers. You will contribute to the initial Wi-Fi design and map out environments. Through your direct contact with the customer, you will strengthen the collaboration between distributor, reseller, and end customer.
• Services: You will contribute to our current and future services and technological solutions.

TASKS

• You will be responsible for organizing all kinds of events. These range from drinks with customers and technical sessions to trade fairs.
• During the events you will help with practical support. After the event, you ensure a smooth follow-up.
• You help with the development of the Dutch and international campaigns.
• You show your creativity in writing social media posts and blog posts.
• You also create visuals and video content.
• You process the inbox and follow up on ‘to do’s’.

• You prepare quotes based on supplier quotes and/or input from your sales colleagues.
• You create quotes for the sales team and enter them accurately into the ERP system.
• You serve as the primary point of contact for obtaining supplier quotes and successfully requesting deal registrations.
• You support your sales colleagues by handling administrative tasks, such as site surveys, service requests, and filling in missing data.
• You answer incoming phone calls and efficiently assist customers and partners.
• You support the organization, planning, and administration of our Training Center in collaboration with our technical team.
