16 Jan Extreme Networks Partner Program Co-Delivery
Extreme Networks is excited to announce the evolution of its high-quality partner program. The former PWP program is now succeeded by the Co-Delivery specialization model. This upgrade is aimed at both new and existing partners, regardless of whether you have Authorized, Gold, or Diamond status.
Why the Co-Delivery model?
The Co-Delivery model offers partners enhanced technical capabilities and increased discounts, enabling you to provide even better technical support to your customers. The current PWP program officially ended on December 31, 2024, making this the ideal time to transition or expand your existing offerings.
Key Requirements
To participate in the Co-Delivery program, technical training is required. Partners can focus on one or more of the three main specializations: Wired, Wireless, and Applications, with a choice of seven certification paths:

Benefits:
- ExtremeCloud IQ – Controller
- ExtremeCloud IQ – Site Engine
- ExtremeCloud SD-WAN
- ExtremeWireless Cloud
- Extreme Switching
- Extreme Fabric
- Extreme Control
Each partner must have at least two technical staff members certified for each chosen path. For example, certifications like 2 x ECP Switching and 2 x ECP Campus Fabric grant access to the Co-Delivery benefits for the Wired specialization.
The Certification Path
Each technology track follows a structured certification path:
- A free video course: ‘Welcome Series’
- An ‘Installation & Configuration’ course with a multiple-choice exam.
- Three additional courses:
- Advanced Configuration
- Management
- Troubleshooting
(These courses can be taken in any order, with an MCQ exam after each course.)
- A final ECP Assessment exam, which includes both theoretical and practical components, to achieve your ECP certification.
Please note: Only the introductory video is free. The other courses and the final ECP exam require a recognized instructor and come with associated costs.
Accelerate the Process
To expedite the certification path, Extreme Networks has developed the Extreme Skill Tools Analysis. With this free tool, you can take a short 15-minute MCQ test to assess your knowledge and determine the most efficient training path. The results are as follows:
- Not Ready!: You do not have sufficient knowledge of the technology and must follow the full standard path.
- Almost There!: You qualify for a 2-day accelerated course (a condensed version of the advanced courses).
- You’re Ready!: You can directly take the final ECP Assessment exam without following the four mandatory courses.
