Sophos Rapid Response Service – Savior in need!

What to do when a malware is spreading in the corporate network and the everything comes to a stop? When such a situation occurs, every second counts to stop the attack as quickly as possible and limit the damage. And this is exactly what Sophos wants to contribute to with their Rapid Response Service.

What is Rapid Response Service?

Sophos Rapid Response Service provides lightning-fast remote assistance when you are in a disaster situation from an active malware or ransomware threat. The service targets all types of businesses, large or small, regardless of whether they already use a Sophos product or not. There are numerous benefits associated with the Rapid Response Service, discover the four main ones here.

Available to you 24/7

Because in a cyber attack every second counts, the Sophos cybersecurity analysts, as well as the onboarding team, work 24/7 to get customers out of the dire situation immediately. The high availability is absolutely necessary for such a service, as such attacks usually do not take place during office hours but rather in the evening, on weekends or holidays.

Stopping the damage is the first priority

The Rapid Response Service is performed entirely remotely. The goal is always to stop the damage, not to restore or rebuild the original environment. Just to use the analogy of a fire department intervention. If a house is on fire, Sophos would be the fire department, ensuring that the fire is brought under control and extinguished. And thus ensures that the damage is limited and prevents worse. But Sophos is not responsible for rebuilding the house or any contents. So the rebuilding of the corporate network should be done by the customer or the reseller partner.

Fast onboarding

To ensure that the Rapid Response Team can stop the attack on your organization, you first go through an onboarding process. This involves deploying the Sophos Intercept X Advanced with EDR agent to all endpoints and servers, so that initial data is available as quickly as possible to evaluate the situation. For customers who previously relied on another security vendor, read competitor, the software is temporarily deactivated or removed.

During the entire time that the Rapid Response Team is working to contain the threat on your network and stop the attack, you will enjoy VIP status with the Rapid Response Service and will have a specially assigned contact person (Single Point of Contact) available to you. Please note that this service is currently only available in English.

Fixed intervention price without hidden costs

Rapid Response Service is provided for 45 days at a fixed price. The price is calculated based on the number of users and the number of servers in the company. Upon approval of the quote, the customer is covered by the Sophos MTR Advanced Service for the 45 days. It does not matter if the attack could be brought under control after only two days.  Because even after the clean-up, the customer still remains under constant surveillance for the remaining 43 days.

After these 45 days, the customer is free to decide whether he wants to continue securing his computers and servers with the installed Sophos Intercept X with the MTR Advanced License, or whether he wants to go back to his previous security provider.

In a nutshell

The goal should be to never have to call on the Sophos Rapid Response Service. But it is reassuring to know that if you are faced with a cyber-attack on the corporate network that a team of experts will take care of the situation and get it under control as quickly as possible.  Rapid Response Service from Sophos is the solution for this.

For customers who already protect their computers and servers with Sophos Central, they should at least license Intercept X Advanced with EDR. Only EDR gives you professional tools to detect suspicious activity on the network that Intercept X Advanced does not directly detect. If you don’t have the time to regularly monitor your network for suspicious activity, you can relax with the MTR license and let Sophos’ team of experts do the work for you, 24/7! You get the same service as with Rapid Response Service. The only difference is that now you can count on Sophos’ best protection, before it’s too late.

And we’re not done talking yet!
